HOPE 0003

These last few days of winter just seem to crawl by, don't they? Some of us struggle with the heavy, dull, cold, aching parts of our lives that can sometimes make us feel like we live in a gray soupy fog. The remedy? Choose hope. If you don't feel hopeful, make a decision to choose hope. Spring is going to be here in 5 days. It sure doesn't look like it and it may not look like it on March 20, 2011 either. But sooner or later, we'll be living in springtime. What does it look like to choose hope? I start wearing spring colors on the first day of spring and I don't stop. I don't care if I have to walk through a foot of snow, I'm doing it wearing a splash of coral, or yellow, or blue. I'm choosing spring -- regardless of the temperature. Choose hope regardless of your circumstances or your feelings. Choose hope because you can.

            but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
            they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  -- Isaiah 40:31
